Själv tänkte jag ta hand om musiken i lilla rummet tillsammans med Timm Mardell och

Ikväll tar jag över Salongen på Fredsgatan. Som vanligt har jag packat skivväskan
fylld med den röjigaste rocken, galnaste popmusiken och dom mest klassiska
indiedängorna. Dessutom tänkte jag spela nya Cut Copy singeln, nya låtar från
kommande Aeroplane skivan och myspysig chillwave.

Ace har gått lite på sparlåga dom senaste veckorna men nu är det dags att sparka igång liket igen och bjuda på indiefest. Jag är tillbaka efter att varit på semester i tre veckor. Den här lördagen har jag bjudit in en massa vänner och bekanta som tänkte spela dom 100 största indiehitsen på Ace dom senaste 4 åren. Räkna med att få höra allt från MGMT, Empire Of The Sun, Knife till gamla klasssiker med The Smiths, Depeche Mode och Joy Division. Kollektivet HEJ VÅLD är nyligen hemkomna efter spelning på Arvikafestivalen och mellanlandar på ACE lilla dansgolv ikväll innan det är dags för spelning som warmup act åt Slagsmålsklubben. Det kommer bjudas på svett, kärlek och galenskap i sin rätta form! DJ-kollektivet är laddat till tänderna och lovar att bjuda på något utöver det vanliga!

På övervåningen är Björn Grape tillbaka för att spela ny, dansant pop så som Ceo, The Drums, Oskar Linnros, The Radio Depts nya blandat med självklara klassiker som Håkan, Kent, The Strokes och annan fantastisk indie.

■ RED | 9 JULI – Sommarkväll med chillwave, drömsk pop och baleariska toner ■

Den här fredagen tänkte vi bjuda på en hög dos av chillwave, drömsk pop och baleariska toner som passar till dom varma sommardagarna vi upplever just nu. Musik som man gillar att lyssna på till allmänt lata, svettiga dagar med en sangria i handen. Vet ni förresten att sangria betyder blod på spanska. Därför passar det bra att vi inleder den här fredagen med att hylla en av årets bästa skivor, nämligen Yeasayers “Odd Blood”! Albumet blandar ett kommersiellt åttiotal med ett experimenterande tiotal, resultatet blir smart popmusik både för hjärnan och fötterna. Bästa spåret heter “Madder Red” och det passar ju som handen i hansken på RED!.

Sedan tänkte vi blanda JJ, Air France, Delorean, Washed Out, Neon Indian, Memory Tapes, Toro Y Moi och Beach House i en salig blandning fram till klockan 22 då Tobias Kingstedt hoppar in i dj-båset och hjälper oss att mixa den bästa pop och rock musiken på dansgolvet.

Inomhus skapar BOMBARDIER den fetaste techno-bastun i Stockholm med allt från skräcktechno till ormtjusarhouse.
